Inauguration '09

I'm proud to be an American. I feel inspired by our new president and the hope that he brings to our country. Here are a few photos of our inauguration celebration. Jay and I watched Obama get sworn in on a big screen they had set up in the Plaza downtown. It was great to be with the community for this event.


Later that night I watched the Youth Ball on TV and I was amazed at the ratio of cameras to attendees. I think every person there had at least one camera. It was really amazing to see everyone viewing the live event through their camera screens. I think it is a generational thing... I'll admit, I'd have done the same thing if I was there.
