Lauren and Evan: The Wedding

These two really have something special together. I have hundreds of reasons why I love them... here are a few.

These ladies are so cute as they marveled at Lauren in her dress! The second shot is Lauren taking a picture with her grandma as Evan looked on (with goo goo eyes).

The picture on the left is the first moment Evan saw Lauren. So precious! The one on the right is just one of the times where time stopped while they were with each other.

This picture is the reason a "first look" is a great idea.

First thing's first... they signed the ketubah.

And already they were married! Hugs ensued. I love the real moments... a mom crying is sweet, a dad crying is really beautiful.
Photobucket

Again, time stopped when Evan's mom hugged them both and welcomed Lauren to the family.

I love the look on his grandma's face. She's been waiting for this day and she is so proud of her grandson for finding such a beautiful girl, inside and out.

There are a lot of similarities between Evan & Lauren and my husband & I. First, they are from Atlanta and so is Jay. Evan was raised Jewish but found a Christian girl, Jay was also raised Jewish and married a Catholic-raised girl. I also like to think we have the same kind of magic they have (which I'm hoping by now you can see in these pictures).

Anyway, they had a dual ceremony with a Rabbi and a Minister to incorporate both of their traditions.

Can anyone tell me why they put the ring on their partner's first finger? I've seen this before at a Jewish wedding so it can't be a coincidence.
Photobucket

Everyone else is stirring around them but I swear they were the only ones there. Is it just me or does time REALLY stop when these two are together?!
Photobucket

I think this one is out of order but I can just picture her saying "you are now husband and wife!"

Beautiful details!

I don't know if you can tell but her dress was a beautiful champagne color with ivory lace.

Jay's perspective... I like it better than mine. Nice job, hun!

They look just like a couple of my friends that used to date... if there is anyone I went to school with reading this... do you know who I mean? It's uncanny!
Photobucket

Photobucket

They were dancin' fools! Actually I think everyone at the wedding was a trained dancer, they knew it all... ballroom, salsa, hip hop, poppin and lockin!
Photobucket

Lauren changed into a modified version of her grandma's wedding dress midway through the reception. It was so, Marilyn Munroe!
Photobucket

I love these two shots. More beautiful moments!

Thank you Allison for doing a great job at my granddaughter Lauren's wedding. This is the best group of wedding pictures that I have ever viewed. You were there but the party went on. You were hardly noticed, you did your work so quietly.

Great photography, some informals were unique and eye candy.
