We have this tradition...

Last year around our anniversary time my best friend and photographer from Deerfield Beach , Amber Sycz did some new portraits for Jay and I to update our web site.  This year I decided to make it a tradition to have portraits done on our anniversary (2 x = tradition).  Since we couldn't make it down to South Florida again around our anniversary we decided to hire local photographer, Kara Pennington to capture us for the occasion.  Kara has worked with us before at a wedding in Ponte Vedra where she and her husband shot the photography and Jay and I shot video.  

I had this vision of the two of us in a field of flowers but had no idea where to find the field.  I had seen so many beautiful yellow wildflowers along the highway but preferred not to have our portraits done with cars flying by at 90 miles and hour.  So I took some time, like 2 hours, driving around looking for the perfect field.  I found several inconvenient spots with a few flowers but knew it was the right place when I stumbled upon this field about a mile from our house.  Other photographers will probably agree when you find the right spot you don't want to share it, and I'm keeping this spot under wraps... sorry.  

I have since used the field to shoot some engagement pictures with, oh-so-cute, Whitney and Mike.  I'll post those photos here soon!  

So here are the pictures Kara and her husband Jeremy took for us in that field.  There are LOTS of pictures of us kissing... so I tried not to include too many of those.  I'll post more photos from the second part of our shoot soon (it's a separate location). 

I am beyond happy with the pictures!  They made us look, dare I say... fabulous!  Thank you Kara and Jeremy!!
