Happy Anniversary

I just got back from a trip to Rome, GA to attend (and photograph) the wedding of my husband's good friend Blake. We had an awesome weekend hanging out with Blake and Tiffany and meeting their families who welcomed us with open arms. They had two wedding ceremonies: one on Friday at the LDS temple in Atlanta and a ring ceremony and reception at a family member's house on Saturday. I was honored to be the photographer for a friend who is very special to my husband and just so much fun to be around in general. We tagged along for everything from the rehearsal dinner at Harvest Moon Cafe to Barnsley Gardens Resort where they were staying for "day after" portraits around the grounds. We were treated by the bride's parents to a hotel room at the beautiful Hawthorn Hotel in the Historic District of Rome. The family took care of us from beginning to end, thanking and complimenting us on our work repeatedly throughout the weekend. I'll be posting their pictures on the blog after editing and posting the last couple of weddings.

Happy Anniversary to my parents who celebrated 33 years of marriage on Saturday! Their marriage has been a wonderful model for my own.
